The lower age requirement to be on a j-Team is 18 years of age. However, high school students under 18 have gone on previous j-Teams. This exception is allowed if there are two members of the same team who are 21+ years of age, one of whom must be the team leader.

Is there an upper age limit?

There is no upper age limit, though the candidate must be in good health. In fact, the oldest person ever to serve on a j-Team was 85.
