Hello Friends,

What a year you and I have been through and our entire planet. This COVID-19 has just slammed us, as the world has faced this crisis. And for those of us in the U.S., it's getting a little easier and we praise God for that.

But our friends in Asia, they're at the peak of the crisis right now. It's just horrific. Daily I'm hearing stories of the impact. Our friends in India, over 2000 pastors have died from this crisis alone. It's just gut-wrenching. And then many other nations, not only are people dying, but the economic impact is just devastating.

Fortunately, through your help, we're able to come alongside to help develop and equip pastors and leaders that are facing this crisis. They're able to serve their communities better because Asian Access serves them, to help equip them, and develop them in what they do.

One of our pastors recently had to risk his own life and run to one of his friends—one of his church members—who was right on the brink of death. And he raced him around town and finally got him help.

Well, this is the kind of thing people are facing on a daily basis, and they need your help. They need our help. And right now, we have a matching challenge grant that will help develop them. Every dollar you give will be matched. In other words, if you give $1, it's equal to $2 to help come alongside and equip these leaders to better serve their communities.

Thank You for Your Prayers and Support

I want to thank you for your prayers. I want to thank you for your support and please consider matching your dollars to help us better serve and equip leaders. They're doing their best to serve on the front lines in the midst of this pandemic.

Jesus Christ: Missionary Incarnate

A3 Advent Devotional Entry • Jeff Johnston

"The angel said, "Don’t be afraid. I'm here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David's town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master. This is what you're to look for: a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger."

The Privilege of Participation

A3 Advent Devotional Entry • Mary Jo Wilson

The image of the young Mary being interrupted in the course of her day by a heavenly invitation to bear God’s son is one of my favorite parts of the Christmas story. I am always amazed to consider how this young girl so completely trusted God and seemingly gave little thought to her personal future and planned engagement. She seemed so ready to say "yes" without hesitation to God and to this amazing proposition.

Christmas in Japan is one of the busiest times of year for A3 missionaries. It is the season when Japanese are the most open to hearing the Gospel because of their interest in Christmas and its origin.

Christmas Lights

A3 Advent Devotional Entry • Emi Hibino Miller

What do you think of when you see Christmas lights? Growing up in a pastor’s family, Christmas time was always very busy with my dad preaching, and my mom directing the Christmas program. Our family also hosted a large Christmas Day gathering for church members who did not have family in the US or in the area.
